I was born in Orel, Russia in 1975. I remember myself being always attracted to beauty and I distinctly recall my first excursion to The State Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow and Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg with my parents.

At the age of ten I began to attend classes in my local school of art having all my spare time devoted to painting back then. Years later I graduated from Imperial Academy of Arts in Saint Petersburg where I learned different painting techniques but being mostly focused on Oil Painting. I returned to Orel and worked on its landscapes, the major part of which was unfortunately lost later.

In the following years I was searching for my unique style in Surrealism and my first paintings were inspired by old fairy tales and legends I'd been fascinated with since childhood. The more recent paintings concern the eternal subjects: youth, ageing, life, death, inner world with its uniqueness.

Apart from my original surrealism-paintings, I like to paint portraits, book-illustrations, different custom projects and moreover I teach Oil painting.
